Who we are
The Learning Loft Shop is run by Natalie Guard and sells digital teaching resources at https://thelearningloftshop.com.
What we collect when you buy
When you place an order, we collect your name, email address and the billing details the checkout asks for, so we can process your payment, send your receipt and give you your downloads. If you make an account, we keep your order history so you can download your resources again.
Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card number goes straight to Stripe; we never see or store it. Stripe’s privacy policy is at https://stripe.com/privacy.
Our newsletter
If you sign up for our newsletter, we keep your name and email address to send it. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can leave at any time. We never sell or rent your email address.
Cookies
The store uses cookies to keep your cart and your sign-in working. We also use Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager, to see how visitors find and use the store: which pages and resources are viewed, and what is added to the cart and bought. Google Analytics sets its own cookies for this. It does not receive your name, email address or card details. Google’s privacy policy is at https://policies.google.com/privacy, and you can turn off Google Analytics in your browser with Google’s add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
We also use Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors use the store, such as where they click and how far they scroll, so we can make it easier to use. Clarity shows this as heatmaps and anonymous recordings of visits, and it hides what you type into forms. Microsoft’s privacy statement is at https://privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement.
We also use the Meta Pixel and Meta’s Conversions API to see how well our ads on Facebook and Instagram work and to show our ads to people who may like our resources. The Meta Pixel sets its own cookies and tells Meta which pages you view and what you add to your cart or buy. When you place an order, the store also tells Meta about that purchase directly, with your email address and name scrambled (hashed) so they can be matched to a Meta account without being readable. Meta never receives your card details. Meta’s privacy policy is at https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy, and you can choose which ads you see in your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences at https://www.facebook.com/adpreferences.
Who we share your information with
Only the services that run the store: Stripe for payments, our website host (Up At Last, LLC), Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity for visit statistics, Meta (Facebook and Instagram) to measure and show our ads, and the service that sends our emails. We don’t sell your information.
How long we keep it
We keep order records as long as the law requires for tax and accounting. You can ask us to delete your account and newsletter details at any time.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing [email protected].
Children
This store is for teachers and parents. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.
